Credit Enhancement-Securitisation

Guarantees/counter-guarantees under the following EU initiatives

• EU Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP)
  covering portfolios of newly originated SME loans or leases;
• Progress Microfinance
  covering portfolios of newly originated micro-credits;

• Risk Sharing Instrument (RSI)
  covering portfolios of newly originated loans targeting research-based and innovative SMEs and Small Mid-Caps;

• Western Balkans Enterprise Development & Innovation Facility Guarantee Facility (WB EDIF)
  covering portfolio of SMEs loans provided by financial institutions and guarantee schemes, among others, established and operating in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of  Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia.
  Financial institutions and guarantee schemes interested to be selected as EIF Intermediaries under WB EDIF for the utilisation of a SME Loan Guarantee can refer to the related Call of Expression of Interest. 

• JEREMIE initiative
  Financial institutions interested to be selected as EIF Intermediaries under JEREMIE can apply only following a Call for Expression of Interest. Calls are launched only for a specific country/region that has signed a JEREMIE Funding Agreement with the EIF.
