Iris Capital Management, supported by the EIF, signs agreement with Orange and Publicis

France Telecom-Orange and Publicis Groupe signed a partnership agreement with Iris Capital Management, a pan-European venture capital team specialized in media, telecoms, internet and IT. The EIF is a significant investor in Iris Capital Management ' s two latest funds Iris Capital Fund II and Iris Capital Fund III. France Telecom-Orange and Publicis Groupe will together contribute EUR 150m.
Such a partnership coupled with this significant contribution is quite unique for the European VC sector and illustrates a sweeping change in venture capital across Europe: a renewed interest from the corporate world in sourcing innovation through venture capital.
