The European Investment Fund, the European Commission, Adie, pioneer of microcredit in Europe, along with BNP Paribas Fortis, have announced the launch of microStart, a microcredit pilot program based in the Brussels neighbourhoods most affected by unemployment.
microStart offers individual or collective microcredit loans ranging from €1,000 – €10,000 to individuals who lack access to traditional bank loans and would like to create or develop an independent professional activity.
This financing benefits from the European Progress Microfinance Facility (EPMF).
